Bihar B.Ed Admission Process

The B. Ed. course admission shall be through a Common Entrance Test B. Ed. (CET B. Ed) in all the Universities and Colleges of Bihar. No one will be admitted to the B. Ed. course in any of the State Uniersities or their colleges of Bihar who has not been successful in the CET B. Ed. The CET B. Ed. will be conducted by a State University of Bihar selected by the Governor's secretariat each year for this purpose. The selected University will be known as Nodal University for CET B. Ed.

The applicants should fill the application forms in online mode only. The online application form will be issued from the website. Before filling the application form, candidates must have to read the instruction carefully. Candidates should fill all the mandatory details in the application form correctly and carefully. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have done graduation with minimum of 50% marks from a valid state University.
• Candidates who have completed bachelor�s in Engineering /Technology (B.E/B.Tech) in Science and Mathematics with at least 55% aggregate or any other qualification /examination recognized by the Academic Council of respective University equivalent thereto are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply

• Fill the application form in online mode by visiting the home page of official website.
• Fill all the mandatory details in the application form correctly and carefully.
• Candidates need to upload the recent passport size photograph, signature and other documents as per prescribed format.
• Candidates have to pay the application fee as given below.
• Send the duly filled application completed in all respects within the dates as given for the closing of applications.
• Candidates can submit the application form either by hand at the respective university/ college offices or speed post at the address given for correspondence in the prospectus.

Application Fee

• Candidates have to pay the necessary application fee.
• Candidates can pay the fee by credit card/debit card or net banking payment gateway.

Exam Pattern

• The exam will consist of objective type questions.
• There will be 15 questions in all sets.
• The questions will be asked from English/ Teaching Potential/ Numerical Ability/ Mental Ability/ General Knowledge subjects.
• There will be no negative marking in the exam.

Admit Card

• It is important to take Admit Card with you while going to the examination center.
• Candidate will not be allowed to give the exam, without the admit card.

Selection Process

• Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their marks obtained in the entrance test.
• Selected candidates who qualify the exam will be further invited for the counseling process according to scores of Entrance Exam.
